The Sportsplex at Hunter College offers state-of-the-art athletic facility rentals and a prime destination for hosting sporting events in the New York Metropolitan area. The venue is a multi-sport training, competition, recreation, and entertainment facility supporting various athletics and other fitness and community activities. Our facilities provide a positive, enriching outlet for the CUNY and New York City communities by offering sports clubs, fitness, and weight-training classes, large and small event venues, conference rooms, competition spaces, and support services for event organizers and participants. Hunter Sportsplex

The Hunter College Sportsplex — one of the prime multipurpose athletics rental hub hosting sports competitions, fitness training, and recreational activities is in the New York Metropolitan area — is housed at the main campus in the West Building, on the corner of 68th Street and Lexington Avenue.

B4 Gym

B4 Gymnasium

The B4 Gymnasium is In the West Building of Hunter College on the B4 level. It features two courts side by side and has a multipurpose surface capable of hosting basketball, tennis, and volleyball competitions and as a practice facility for various sports activities.

Fencing Studio

Fencing Room/Studio

The Fencing Room/Studio is on the B3 level of the West Building. The multi-use studio houses the men's and women's fencing teams and recreation and group fitness classes. A center divider can convert the space into two smaller rooms to accommodate two events simultaneously. The room also has a section of pull-out bleachers for small crowds.

Fitness Center

Fitness Center

The Fitness Center is located on the B2 Level in the West Building of the Hunter College 68th Street Campus. It is open to the entire Hunter community; students, athletes, faculty and staff. The hour vary throughout the year but the most up-to-date schedule will be posted in the link below to ensure the hours of operation are correct.

Racquetball Courts

Racquetball Courts

The Racquetball Courts are located on the B4 level of Hunter’s West Building which is located on the corner of 68th street and Lexington Avenue. There are four operational courts open to the Hunter community. The hours of operation for the Raquetball Courts are listed in the link below.

Pool

North Pool

The Hunter North Pool is located on the C level of Hunter’s North Building which is located on Park Avenue between 68th and 69th Streets. The newly renovated, 4-lane/25-yard pool, reopened in November 2008 and now features a Daktronics timing system with a matching scoreboard.

Armory

168th Street Armory Track and Field Center

The 168th Street Armory Track and Field Center is home to the Hunter College indoor track and field teams. In addition to its renown 200-meter Mondo track, the New Balance Track & Field Center offers all ancillary field stations, a four-sided videotron and seating for 4,000 spectators.

Icahn Stadium

Icahn Stadium

Icahn Stadium is a 5,000 seat track and field and multipurpose facility located on Randalls Island. The complex features an International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Class 1 certified running track with a 400-meter Mondo Super X Performance surface. It has been the site of many international, national, and regional track and field events.

USTA

USTA National Tennis Center

The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is an American stadium complex located in the Flushing Meadows–Corona Park in Queens, New York City, which has been the home of the US Open Grand Slam tennis tournament played every year in August and September since 1978.

Gymnasium

The Gymnasium space at 68th Street Campus B301 and B401 includes a 200-person capacity basketball court and bleachers and supports 240 guests for volleyball events.

The Commons Level North Pool

The Commons Level North swimming pool is a four-lane, competition-size pool with a capacity of 60 in the pool and 15 on the deck.

Fencing & Dance School

B308 and B303 of the main campus on 68th Street have a fencing and dance studio with a capacity of 100, a wrestling room with a capacity of 40, locker rooms, and a weight-training facility.

Conference Room and Video Smart Classroom

The smart classrooms have a data/video projector mounted on the ceiling with a laptop hookup. Some rooms are equipped with a lectern and desktop computer with a single control panel.

Brookdale Campus

The Brookdale campus features athletic facilities including a bowling alley, diving pool, and several gymnasiums.

The Campus School

The Campus School Gymnasium is a full-size basketball court that can hold as many as 200 people. The gym can be used for a variety of athletic events.

Randall's Island

Randall's Island is home to Hunter's men's soccer team and softball teams. The island, connected to Manhattan, Queens, and The Bronx by the Triboro Bridge, has more than 65 soccer, softball, lacrosse, and baseball fields.

USTA National Tennis Center

Main Campus

Hunter College's main campus is 695 Park Ave., New York, NY 10065, at 68th Street and Lexington Avenue.

MTA's 6 Train Access

The main campus is accessible from the 68th Street - Hunter College stop on the 6 Train.

Brookdale Campus

Hunter College's Brookdale Campus is home to the School of Nursing and Health Professions.

East Harlem Campus

Hunter College's East Harlem Campus is home to the Silberman School of Social Work, the School of Urban Public Health, and the Center for Puerto Rican Studies (CENTRO).
